Fit
Whether this is worth a call.
Restaurant marketing is mostly discipline, not spend. We are useful where someone will keep the basics current.
Good fit
Businesses like these
- Independent restaurants, cafes and small groups with their own kitchen
- Venues with a real reason to visit: a chef, a cuisine, a room, an occasion
- Owners who want direct orders and bookings rather than aggregator volume
- Teams who can keep photos and hours current
Not us
We would point you elsewhere
- Cloud kitchens that only want aggregator rankings
- Anyone who wants reviews bought, incentivised or filtered
- Anyone who wants a cover count guaranteed in the contract
- Franchises with no control over their own profile or website
What we do
Restaurant marketing, run as one program.
A restaurant lives or dies on what the map listing shows at 7pm on a Friday. Everything else supports that: the photos, the reviews, the menu pages and whatever makes someone book instead of scrolling on.
Google Business Profile and local search
Categories, hours, attributes, photos and posts kept current, plus the review velocity that decides who shows in the map results.
Menu and location pages
A crawlable menu, not a PDF. Dish, cuisine and occasion pages that catch searches an aggregator listing cannot answer.
Reviews and responses
A steady flow of recent reviews and real replies. Recency moves rankings more than the lifetime total does.
Social content that shows the food
A posting rhythm built from what you already plate, tied to the nights and the dishes you need moving.
Local paid ads
Radius campaigns for openings, offers and slow nights, kept small and specific rather than run permanently at a flat budget.
Website, bookings and direct ordering
Aggregators take a third of the order and all of the customer data. We build the direct path and make it the easy one.
Questions
Before you write in.
If yours is not here, send it. We answer these on the first call anyway.
Have you worked with restaurants before?
Not yet, and we would rather say so than invent a case study. What we do have is six years of local search work for businesses that live on the map pack and the phone, which is the same problem in a different apron.
Should we leave the delivery apps?
Usually not. Keep them for reach and build the direct channel alongside, because the app owns the customer and takes the margin. The aim is shifting the repeat orders, not switching overnight.
Do photos really matter that much?
More than almost anything else on the listing. Current photos of real plates, the room and the front of the building change how many people click through, and the effect is immediate.
How many reviews do we need?
Fewer than you think, but recent and steady. A profile getting a handful every month outranks one with hundreds from three years ago.
Are influencer collabs worth it?
Occasionally, for a launch. As a standing strategy they are expensive attention that rarely repeats, and a consistent review and photo flow beats them over a year.
How long before local rankings move?
Three to six months for most local terms, faster when the profile has obvious problems fixed early. Proximity is the strongest factor, so results are strongest nearby and thin further out.
