Accounts

Campaign types

Six campaign types, used deliberately.

Most accounts we audit have everything dumped into Performance Max because it was the easiest button to press. We separate campaigns by intent so you can see what each one actually costs you.

Highest intent

Brand search

Protects your own name from competitors bidding on it, at a cost per click that is usually pennies. Reported separately so it never inflates your overall ROAS.

High intent

Non-brand search

People searching for what you sell without knowing you exist. Tight match types, negative keyword lists maintained weekly, and ad copy written per ad group.

High intent

Shopping

Standard Shopping campaigns where you still want control over bidding and product segmentation, driven by a clean Merchant Center feed.

Mixed

Performance Max

Used where it earns its place, with asset groups split by margin and brand exclusions applied so it is not just buying back your own traffic. Most of what a Performance Max agency gets wrong is leaving these defaults on.

Discovery

Demand Gen & YouTube

Video and feed placements for brands that need demand created, not just captured. Only recommended once search is already saturated.

Return

Remarketing & RLSA

Display and search remarketing with capped budgets, and audience lists layered onto search so past visitors bid differently.

Merchant Center

Google Merchant Center setup: Shopping lives or dies on the product feed.

You can manage bids perfectly and still lose to a competitor with better titles. The feed is where most of the winnable margin sits, and it is the part most agencies leave on default.

Feed setup and repair

Shopify catalog connected to Merchant Center properly, with feed rules handling the gaps rather than asking you to edit every product by hand.

  • GTIN & MPN
  • Product types
  • Custom labels

Titles and attributes

Product titles rewritten to match how people actually search, with attributes filled in so your listings qualify for more queries than your competitors do.

  • Title structure
  • Descriptions
  • Color & size
  • Image rules

Disapprovals cleared

Policy violations, missing values and price mismatches worked through until the account is clean, including appeals where the flag is wrong.

  • Policy fixes
  • Price mismatch
  • Appeals
  • Monitoring

Free listings and promotions

Organic Shopping listings and merchant promotions switched on, because they cost nothing and most stores never enable them.

Measurement

Conversions counted once, and correctly.

Nearly every account we take over is double counting purchases somewhere, usually through a duplicate tag and a GA4 import running at the same time. Smart Bidding then optimizes against that noise.

Conversion setup

One primary conversion action, deduplicated, with the Shopify tag and GA4 import reconciled instead of both counting the same order.

Enhanced conversions

Hashed first-party data sent back to Google so conversions still get attributed as cookie signal keeps degrading.

Profit, not revenue

Margin data fed in where you can supply it, so bidding optimizes toward what you actually keep rather than gross order value.

Process

First ninety days, stage by stage.

Search rewards patience more than paid social does. Learning periods are real, and restructuring an account resets them, so we do the rebuild once and properly.

02

Week 1 to 2

03

Clean the feed

Merchant Center disapprovals cleared, titles rewritten, feed rules and custom labels applied.

Campaigns split by intent, negatives written, brand separated from non-brand.

Week 3 to 4

05

Let it learn

Bidding left alone through the learning period while we work search terms and ad copy.

Week 4 to 8

06

Scale

Budget moved toward profitable segments, new campaign types added only once the core is stable.

Week 8 onward

Paid search work

Questions

Google Ads management questions.

What is the minimum ad spend you work with?

USD 3,000 a month. Below that, search volume is usually too thin for the data to support real decisions, and the management fee eats too much of the budget to be worth it for you.

Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?

No. Our fee is flat, so we have no reason to push your budget higher than it should be. Ad spend goes to Google directly from your own billing.

Should we run Performance Max?

Sometimes. It works when the feed is clean and brand traffic is excluded, and it quietly harvests your own branded searches when it is not. We will tell you which situation you are in rather than defaulting to it.

Who owns the Google Ads account?

You do. We work through our Google Partner manager account linked to yours, never in an agency-owned account. If we stop working together, nothing needs migrating.

How long before we see results?

Weeks one to three are audit, tracking and feed work. Bidding needs a learning period after any restructure, so honest read-outs start around week six to eight rather than in month one.

Do you also handle Merchant Center?

Yes, and it is included. Feed rules, titles, disapprovals and free listings are part of the retainer rather than a separate line item.

Are you a Google Ads management company or a full-service agency?

Both, and you can buy either. As a Google Ads management agency, plenty of clients take Google Ads on its own. Where it helps, the same team runs Meta Ads, SEO and CRO, so a landing page problem found in search data gets fixed instead of reported. We are a Google advertising agency first and an ecommerce agency around it.
