Expectations

What organic social actually does.

Organic social is not a direct response channel for most D2C brands, and any social media management agency selling it as one is setting you up to be disappointed in month three. Here is what it is good at.

What it does

Makes you look real

People check the feed before they buy. An empty or abandoned profile costs you sales you never see reported anywhere.

What it does

Feeds your paid ads

Organic is the cheapest place to find out which hooks and formats land. The winners get promoted into paid, where they are worth money.

What it does not

Replace paid acquisition

Reach is capped, and it will not scale revenue on its own. If you need orders this quarter, that budget belongs in ads and we will say so.

Platforms

Three platforms, done properly.

We would rather run three accounts well than seven badly. Which three depends on your category, not on which platforms are being talked about this year.

Instagram

Still the default for most D2C. Reels for reach, grid for credibility, Stories for the day-to-day.

Core

TikTok

Where a small brand can still get found without paying. Needs a different tone from Instagram, not the same clip reposted.

Core

Facebook

Older demographics, local businesses and groups. Often worth keeping alive even when it is not growing.

As needed

Pinterest

Genuinely a search engine. Strong for home, food, craft, wedding and fashion brands, largely pointless outside them.

Category dependent

LinkedIn

For B2B and wholesale brands, and for founders building a personal audience alongside the company.

B2B only

YouTube Shorts

Free extra distribution for vertical video you already made. Rarely worth producing for on its own.

What is included

What the social media management package includes, every month.

Community management is included in all our social media management packages rather than sold as an add-on, because an account with unanswered DMs is worse than no account at all.

  • Post AI slop to hit a quota
  • Chase a trend that does not fit the brand

Questions

Social media management questions.

Do we need to send you photos every week?

No. That is why most social retainers collapse. We run a quarterly shoot and work from that plus your existing library, so the calendar does not stall waiting on you.

How many followers will we gain?

We do not forecast follower counts, and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. Followers are the easiest number to inflate and the least connected to revenue. We report saves, shares, profile visits and clicks to site instead.

Do you post the same thing everywhere?

No. Formats and tone differ per platform. A TikTok that works reposted to Instagram usually reads as lazy, and both audiences can tell.

Who replies to comments and DMs?

We do, daily, in a tone of voice we agree with you upfront. Anything about an order, a complaint or a partnership gets escalated to you rather than answered by us.

Can you run paid social too?

Yes, and it is a separate service. Most clients start with one and add the other once the organic content has shown which formats are worth spending money behind.

Do we own the content?

Yes. Photos, video, raw files and edited assets are all yours, delivered to a shared drive. You can use them in ads, on the site or anywhere else.

Do you work with small businesses?

Yes, and it is most of our social work. A social media marketing agency for small business has to be honest about budget: three platforms run well costs less than seven run badly, and a quarterly shoot beats a monthly one nobody can afford. We scope to what the brand can sustain for a year, not what looks good in month one.

How are you different from other social media management companies?

We produce the content instead of waiting for it, we reply to DMs ourselves instead of leaving them, and we will tell you when organic is not the right spend. Most social media management agencies report follower growth. We report saves, shares, profile visits and clicks to site, because those are the numbers that connect to revenue.

Send us the profile. We will send back a month of posts.

A sample content plan built for your brand, with pillars, formats and a first calendar. Yours to keep whether or not you work with us.
