What we do
Planner marketing, run as one program.
Planners get found in three places: search, directories and Instagram. Most rely entirely on the ones they do not own, which works until a directory changes its pricing or its algorithm.
Real wedding and event pages
Each event written up with venue, style, guest count and what you handled. These rank for exactly the searches couples and corporates make.
Venue and city pages
Pages for the venues you work at and the cities you cover. Venue-name searches are low volume, high intent and almost never contested properly.
Instagram and Pinterest presence
The two platforms where this decision actually happens, run from your own event photography on a schedule.
Meta Ads in enquiry season
Budget concentrated in the months when planning starts, retargeting people who looked at the portfolio and left.
Directory and referral strategy
Which listings are worth paying for in your market, what to put on them, and how to move the relationship onto your own channel afterwards.
Enquiry flow and pricing page
Most planner sites lose the couple between the gallery and the form. We test the enquiry path and how much pricing to show.
Fit
Whether this is worth a call.
This is a proof business with a short enquiry window. It suits planners building their own channel, not planners wanting a lead tap.
Good fit
Planners like these
- Wedding planners and event studios with completed events to show
- Corporate event and production companies with repeat clients
- Planners with photography rights to their own events
- Teams who reply to an enquiry within a day, in season
Not us
We would point you elsewhere
- Anyone with no published work yet
- Anyone who wants a booking count guaranteed in the contract
- Planners who cannot take on next season's dates
- Anyone who wants leads bought rather than earned
Questions
Before you write in.
If yours is not here, send it. We answer these on the first call anyway.
Have you worked with wedding or event planners before?
Not yet, and we would rather say so than invent a case study. We run seasonal search and paid programs for travel operators, which is the same shape: long research, short booking window, decision made on photos.
Are the big wedding directories worth paying for?
In some markets, early on. They give volume and take the relationship, and their pricing moves whenever they want. Treat them as rented traffic while you build the pages and profile you own.
How does seasonality change the plan?
Rankings have to be in place before enquiry season, so content work starts two quarters ahead. Paid budget then concentrates in the enquiry window instead of running flat all year.
Should we show our pricing?
A starting point, usually. Planners who publish a from figure get fewer enquiries and far better ones, and it removes the most awkward call in the process.
Is Instagram more important than search?
For discovery, often. For a couple who already knows what they want and is comparing three planners, search and your own pages decide it. You need both, for different stages.
How long before SEO does anything?
Three to six months. Venue and specific event-type pages usually move first, and they bring the most qualified enquiries anyway.
