What we do
Photography marketing, run as one program.
A photographer is usually one of forty in the city with a similar gallery. The difference is being found for the specific shoot someone is searching for, and loading before they give up.
Service and shoot-type pages
Wedding, newborn, brand, product, headshots, events. Each written as its own page, because that is how people search and how Google ranks.
City and venue pages
The places you shoot, named. Low volume, high intent, and almost nobody in this field builds them properly.
Site speed and image handling
Modern formats, correct sizing and lazy loading. Portfolio sites are the slowest on the web and most enquiries are lost before the first image appears.
Instagram and Pinterest
Where discovery happens in this category, run from your own shoots on a consistent schedule rather than in bursts.
Google Ads on shoot intent
Small, specific campaigns on shoot-type and city terms, with call tracking, sized for a business where one booking covers months of spend.
Enquiry flow and pricing
The contact form, the packages page and how much to publish. Tested against where people actually drop off.
Fit
Whether this is worth a call.
This is a proof and speed problem more than a spend problem. We are useful where the work is strong and nobody can find it.
Good fit
Photographers like these
- Photographers and studios with a body of published work
- Anyone with a clear main niche rather than everything for everyone
- Studios taking commercial or brand work alongside private clients
- Teams who reply to an enquiry within a day
Not us
We would point you elsewhere
- Anyone with no portfolio online yet
- Anyone who wants a booking count guaranteed in the contract
- Photographers fully booked for the next year
- Anyone who wants leads bought rather than earned
Questions
Before you write in.
If yours is not here, send it. We answer these on the first call anyway.
Have you worked with photographers before?
Not directly, and we would rather say so than invent a case study. We have built and ranked image-heavy sites in other sectors, which is where the speed and structure work comes from.
Should I publish my prices?
A starting figure, usually. It costs you enquiries that were never going to book and saves the call that ends in silence. Full price lists make sense less often.
Do I need to niche down?
For search, yes. A page for one shoot type in one city ranks far more easily than a general photography page, and you can hold several of those at once without narrowing the business.
My site is slow because of the photos. Can that be fixed?
Yes, without flattening the images. Correct formats, sizing and lazy loading usually cut load time by more than half, and that alone changes how many people reach the contact page.
Is Google Ads worth it for a photographer?
On narrow shoot-type and city terms, often yes. The volume is small but one booking usually covers a long stretch of spend, so it is worth a controlled test.
How long before SEO does anything?
Three to six months. Shoot-type and venue pages move first, general photography terms take far longer and convert worse anyway.
