In short
What is social media marketing in Sydney?
Social media marketing in Sydney is the work of earning attention in Australia's most crowded and most suburb-conscious market. An Eastern Suburbs audience, an Inner West audience and a Western Sydney audience behave like three different cities, and content that averages them reaches none of them properly.

Platforms
Platform mix for a Sydney business
We would rather run three accounts well than seven badly. Which three depends on your category and your city, not on which platforms are being talked about this year.
| Platform | Who it reaches | Where it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Consumer Sydney from Bondi to the Inner West | First platform for food, fitness, beauty and retail | |
| The CBD and North Sydney professional base | First platform for B2B, finance and property | |
| TikTok | Under-35s across the whole metro | Second platform for consumer brands with personality |
| Suburban families, community groups and the Shire | Local services, trades and family businesses | |
| YouTube Shorts | Commuters and researchers | Explainer content for considered purchases |

Questions

If yours is not here, send it. We answer these on the first call anyway.
How much does social media management cost in Sydney?
7SEA retainers in Sydney start at A$2,000 a month, scoped after we review your accounts, your category and how much content already exists. You approve the number before anything starts, and the contract is rolling on 30 days with no lock-in.
How many social media platforms do you manage?
We work across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest. Most brands run two or three of them properly rather than all six thinly, and which two or three depends on your category and where buyers in your city actually spend their time.
What type of content do you create?
Statics, carousels, reels and stories, mixed to suit the platform and the goal. Reels and short video do the discovery work, carousels explain and teach, statics carry offers and brand, and stories handle the day to day.
Do you use AI to design social media content?
Yes, as a production tool. The difference is the output: our AI work is finished to look like real photography and real design, not the obvious AI look most tools produce. You can review samples before committing.
We have no photos or raw content. Can you still run our social media?
Yes. Where raw content does not exist we build the calendar from AI-produced visuals and copyright-free stock, finished to match your brand. Once we have shoot material from you, it replaces that mix gradually rather than all at once.
What do we actually receive each month?
A content calendar approved before anything publishes, then 15 to 30 pieces of finished content depending on scope, scheduled and published, with comments and DMs handled daily and a monthly report on what moved.
What is your process for social media management in Sydney?
An audit of your accounts and three local competitors, a one-page strategy, then a monthly calendar you approve before anything posts. We publish, answer comments and DMs daily, and send a plain written report. The first calendar is live within two weeks.
How do local businesses get customers from Instagram in Sydney?
By picking a side of the city and owning it. Sydney customers rarely cross the bridge or the Anzac for a service they can get nearby, so suburb-specific content and tight geo-targeting convert better than metro-wide reach ever does.
Which social media platform is best for a small business in Sydney?
Instagram for consumer categories, LinkedIn for the finance, property and professional base that dominates the CBD. Most Sydney businesses need exactly two platforms run properly, and the honest answer depends on which half of the economy you sell to.
Is social media marketing worth it for a small business in Sydney?
In contested categories, only with specificity. Cafe, fitness and beauty here face the highest content bar in Australia, so generic posts are invisible at any budget. For B2B and trades, the bar is lower and consistency alone stands out.
