In short
What is social media marketing in San Diego?
Social media marketing in San Diego is consistency work in a market without forcing seasons. Demand runs year round across tourism, military, biotech and a beach-city consumer economy, so the advantage goes to brands that post with discipline and speak to the right one of those audiences rather than averaging all four.

Platforms
Platforms that matter in San Diego
We would rather run three accounts well than seven badly. Which three depends on your category and your city, not on which platforms are being talked about this year.
| Platform | Note | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Core for beach, food, fitness, wellness and visitor-facing brands. | Core | |
| Carries biotech, device, defense and professional services. | Core for B2B | |

| Useful for military community groups, families and local services. | Core for local | |
| YouTube Shorts | Extra distribution for video already produced. | Repurposed |
| Wedding, interiors and wellness brands. | Category dependent |

Questions
Social media questions.
If yours is not here, send it. We answer these on the first call anyway.
How much does social media management cost in San Diego?
Retainers start at $1,500 a month, scoped after we review your accounts, your category and how much content already exists. You approve the number before anything starts, and the contract is rolling on 30 days with no lock-in.
How many social media platforms do you manage?
We work across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest. Most brands run two or three of them properly rather than all six thinly, and which two or three depends on your category and where buyers in your city actually spend their time.
What type of content do you create?
Statics, carousels, reels and stories, mixed to suit the platform and the goal. Reels and short video do the discovery work, carousels explain and teach, statics carry offers and brand, and stories handle the day to day.
Do you use AI to design social media content?
Yes, as a production tool. The difference is the output: our AI work is finished to look like real photography and real design, not the obvious AI look most tools produce. You can review samples before committing.
We have no photos or raw content. Can you still run our social media?
Yes. Where raw content does not exist we build the calendar from AI-produced visuals and copyright-free stock, finished to match your brand. Once we have shoot material from you, it replaces that mix gradually rather than all at once.
What do we actually receive each month?
A content calendar approved before anything publishes, then 15 to 30 pieces of finished content depending on scope, scheduled and published, with comments and DMs handled daily and a monthly report on what moved.
What is your process for social media management in San Diego?
Brand audit first, then deep-dive research into your category and local competitors, then a content plan. The plan is shared with you for approval before any design work starts, and only then does production and scheduling begin.
Is social media marketing worth it for a small business in San Diego?
Often yes, for an unusual reason. San Diego has no forcing season, so most local accounts drift, and a business that simply posts consistently outperforms better-funded competitors who post in bursts.
Which social media platform is best for a small business in San Diego?
Instagram for beach, food, fitness and wellness, Facebook for military community groups and families, LinkedIn for biotech and defense. Which two you pick depends entirely on whether you sell to consumers or to businesses.
How often should a small business post on social media in San Diego?
Three to five posts a week per core platform, every month of the year. Without seasonal pressure the discipline of a steady calendar is the actual competitive advantage here.
Is 7SEA based in San Diego?
No, but the clock is identical. 7SEA works with San Diego businesses from Los Angeles, two hours up the coast, on Pacific time. The calendar is approved monthly, DMs are answered daily, reporting is written, and travel is never billed.
